Rating: 1 (out of 5) Summary: This should be in the toy section Comments: This thing is so outdated it's probably pointless to even do a review of it after all these years. however maybe someone will benefit from the review if they find themselves looking for a cheap, used camera. Simply put: KEEP LOOKING because this thing produces pictures that are horribly bad. I purchased it for my daughter in '05 and even by the standards of those days the pictures that came from this cam were worthless. You can get something so much better than this for pretty cheap nowadays so do not bother with this one. A used Canon point-and-shoot with at least 6MP can be had for next to nothing. do not purchase this Kodak except as a gag gift for someone IF you can get it for less than a dollar. |

Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Perfection In an Imperfect World Comments: great Grief!! What do you expect out of a low-priced camera!! No, this is not a professional let's shoot the Playmate of the Month camera. You can get those for around a thousand or so USD. This is a versatile-use-it-out of the box camera for people just getting into digital photograhy or for those who who want a digital camera without selling the farm. I have shot with1for about2years under some demanding conditions. It has never failed even after it was dropped and took2bounces on top of the highest mountain in Maine. It has always performed better than I was led to believe it would. It is not cheaply made even though it is made of plastic--it's sturdy --no hinges have snaaped off--the lense hasn't dropped off. Look..the camera snobs are writing misleading reviews about this camera and others. Give the people looking for a camera a break. No!! This not a Nikon, Cannon, or a Leica. It is1hell of an inexpensive digital camera that makes picture taking fun. |
